  • Where can we get Ttranquileyes foams?!! ANY advice would be appreciated!

I just learned that EyeEco was taken over by PRN and no longer sells Tranquileyes' Replacement Foams. I'm specifically sensitive to the regular form which gives me a rush and totally depend on the fabric-lined foam for my sleep, as my condition requires complete darkness with constant moisture. Without it, I can't sleep and can't maintain my eye health, and ability to function...

I have no idea how I would literally survive without it or a similarly effective solution. The silicon goggles such as EyeSeals 4.0 Clear, Onyix silicone shield, EyeSeals 4.0 Charcoal, and similar, don't work for me in this regard...

Hence, I'm desperate for any solution, any! :-(

I'm curious to learn how other members are dealing with this situation and what other alternatives if any have you found to be effective.

On a different note, Rebecca Petris, I remember that you have a very close relationship with the EyeEco's inventor/previous owner, and was wondering whether it would make sense for the Dry Eye Shop to take over the distribution or manufacturing of these Tranquileyes fabric-lined foams and make it available exclusively on the Dry Eye Shop or Amazon?
I truly hope, Rebecca, that you can work out a reasonable solution with the previous owner.

Otherwise, do you think, Rebecca Petris, it would be a good idea, perhaps to organize a petition in Dry Eyes Forums, requesting PRN, the new owner of EyeEco and resume its Tranquileyes form replacement manufacturing?

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays!!!

PRN discontinued the foam replacements a while ago, it's probably been about a year. You can try googling "Tranquileyes replacement foam" and contacting the companies that still have it listed on their site. Sigma Pharma still has it up on their site, but it may not be available: https://www.sigmapharmaceuticals.com...ement-kit.html

PRN's new business model is that you have to buy a new Tranquileyes goggle when you need to replace the foam. Have you tried calling them to ask if they have any foam replacements left you can buy?

Lastly, have you tried the helloblinkjoy.com mask? Not sure if it's right for you, but just wanted to put it out there.

thank you Aidan I did call PRN/EyeEco and was told that I need to buy new tranquileyes every time I need a replacement foam which is insane and predatory in my opinion and would get me to bankruptcy :-( I did search online on Amazon and eBay but I will definitely check the links you provided.

Aidan Here are some updates: Following your suggestion, I contacted Sigma Pharmaceutical and discovered that they only sell to doctors. Additionally, their system does not show the replacement foams in their inventory, and their representative informed me that they can only confirm availability once an order is placed.

Regarding helloblinkjoy.com, the silicone masks/goggles, unfortunately, do not meet my requirements for complete darkness, pressing on my eyes to keep them closed, and a significant level of moisture akin to that of water-soaked foam.

I also called EyeEco/PRN once again, and when pressed, they informed me, that not selling the replacement foams was a corporate decision. Meaning, that they do NOT give a dam about their clients/patients and opt for a predatory strategy. If it was up to me, I would boycott them, refraining from purchasing any of their products, which are sucks regardless.

In my mind, PRN is nothing more than a PRICY marketing scheme by labeling its Omega-3 supplements for Dry Eye and by confusing people and doctors to believe that it’s Triglyceride whereas, in fact, it’s NOT, but Re-Esterified.

Finally, it’s NOT THIRD PARTY TESTED which is a LARGE RED FLAG!!!

In contrast, the brand that I recommended on a separate dedicated post for Omega 3, allows you to review the ACTUAL Analytical Testing Results with its respective certificate based on the lot number marked on the bottom of the container!

        https://www.purealaskaomega.com/traceability/

PRN DE3 does NOT meet all the criteria!!! Not to mention it’s PRICEY!!!

        1) it’s Re-Esterified (stated on the label) and was processed to alcohol-based Omega 3 in one of the production steps which degraded the Onega 3

That means it was initially Esterified which involves heat and ethanol that degrade the Omega 3 fish oil

        2) it’s NOT cold press extracted since it was re-esterified and highly refined! Also, the label would have stated it was a cold press if it was

        3) EPA amount is far greater than DHA by approximately 3 times whereas DHA should be higher than EPA

        4) it contains natural flavor where you want no addition of any additives or flavors

        5) it was NOT tested by a third party which is a HUGE RED FLAG!!!

        6) and many more...
