I googled "recurrent corneal erosion" because I hadn't heard of it until I was diagnosed with it, and definitely didn't know anyone else going through what I'm going through. I've been lurking, but it does help me feel less crazy knowing that other people have dealt with it, and I'm not overreacting.

Hmm... I found Dry Eye Zone in 2013, running a Google Search for dry eye syndrome. I had just been diagnosed with DES, plus Blepharatis, by Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute, after some gen. practitioner at an urgent-card facility mis-diagnosed me as having pinkeye! That 'false alarm' prevented me from returning to work for over a week..

Hi there, I'm 29 female who has suffered from MGD since I was 17. The main issue for me is the constant meibomian cysts and chalazia I keep getting. When I was younger I didn't fully understand the condition so had over 7 surgeries to remove the cysts but I believe this has my dry eye and glands even worse. I have three chalazia now and have had two ipl treatments recently but if anything they caused more chalazions and swelling. Found no relief, I have my third session today and worried I will have another cyst following this. I use blephasteam daily, massage lids afterwards and take omega 3 but this doesn't help the cysts at all. Has anyone have any advice for me? I have taken doxy before but the issue returned after I stopped these.
