I am 36 and have been dealing with dry eyes among other problems since I was about 24. I caught a virus in my right eye that scarred my cornea and in 1997 I had a cornea transplant but never really gained the vision since then and have had about 7 surgeries throughout the years to try and obtain the vision and releive the dry eyes. I found this site due to the last visit I had last week with my eye dr. for a regular checkup and he mentioned the Boston Sight center and the Sclera lens. I was looking for more information before I decide delving into another option and wanted more information.
The site has been so helpful for me and so informative, I guess I just never found it before because I have just been so discouraged with all the different treatments I have been through in all these years with either partial or no success on gaining my vision back clearly.
anyone that has been to the Boston Sight center for the sclera lens that can give me any feedback would be so greatly appreciated.
I am on restasis, lubricant at night, tears during the day and I also use a serum four times a day and am tired of all this and still not getting clear visoin at times,
I see one of the best corneal specialist in the Northeast so I know it is not my dr and I respect him that he does mention other dr.s for me to see in case someone else knows something he does not but I have not met one yet and he is the only one that has given me at least some relief.
any feedback from others would be so greatly appreciated.
