  • Scleral lens and convergence insufficieny

    Hey all,

This is a very random one that sort of relates to dry eye....wondering if rings a bell with anyone. I've got medium-ish MGD; mornings are usually ok but by early afternoon they are burning. Xiidra seems to help a bit, as does heat compress. That's step one. Step two is where...

    Another accutane victim

    Hi all,

After reading many many many posts about isotretinoin induced MGD, I do believe mine might be a relatively mild case. However, mental health wise... I am struggling coming to terms with a life that might be permanently altered.

    I took 40mg for 10 months and after 3...

  • I crawled on my hands and knees to the end of the dry eye hell tunnel

Hoping not to jinx myself, but it's been five years, so here goes.

I was on this website for two years starting in 2016, suffering in what seemed like endless dry eye hell tunnel. I woke up every two hours from pain, wore moisture chamber glasses that looked like goggles, tried my best...

An update from my end on this topic. May it help someone else.
First of all, I'm still going through the dry-eye/MGD rollercoaster, unfortunately. I'm still trying to find a way to control as good as possible.

I have extensively tried the low-dose slow release 40mg Efracea (which...

Hi, I never enter his forum anymore since it reactivates old, dark feelings but felt I had to share that I feel that I'm back to living a normal life (I started out as a post LASIK dry eye sufferer with corneal neuralgia). I started using it for the first time one day ago, I can tell you this, I am amazed, I feel great,

    Seleniex new mgd treatment

There is a company called seleniex from Canada, which offers a ointment, which is a new MGD treatment. This is the same as azura ophthalmics azr-md-001.
AZR-md-001 is in phase 3 clinical trials and will be available in 2 years, but seleneix offers you to buy the same formula right now. I ordered...

After that and till December 2023, I had to apply 4 to 5 times daily
eye drops. In the peak, even 10 times.
