Does anyone here have conjunctival chalasis (CCH)?

I was just re-reading the diagnosis sheet today from my last appointment at Moorfields 2 months ago and it says I have conjunctival chalasis (CCH). I remember the doctor telling me I had this but playing it down saying it was minimal and didn't require surgical correction.

I didn't pay...

LASIK Nerve damage and human NGF

Many of you know my background already, so I won't repeat myself here in detail.

I'm now 12 months post LASIK with dry eyes. The LASIK was carried out on top of existing dry eyes, unfortunately, I wasn't aware because I was symptom-free.

I've been trying to get better ever...

Newbie: 20 years old, 5 doctors later and dry eye cause unknown (maybe accutane)

Hello world,
About 4 months ago I started reading these posts but was sure I'd get better soon enough but sadly here I am finally making an account.
I'm wondering if anyone else has ever been in a similar situation as mine: horrible sudden dry eye symptoms but no significant clinical explanation....

Newbie Here with Question about Lipiflow

Hi! First time posting, although Iíve been browsing for quite awhile.

Introducing myself from NC, USA.

I've suffered with severe dry eye for about 3 years now. I've seen two different doctors the latter of which is a dry eye specialist. She has helped me significantly, but I'm in the middle of a flare-up. For me, the worst of my symptoms are extreme tearing. My eyes also get pretty red, but are not as...

just wanted to post this because we talk about MMP9 and this test so much. A 20 pack is 200 bucks. Cheaper than a drs appt. Iím aware some of you pretty much treat your disease yourself. If youíre curious as to weather your treatment...

Anyone had success with IPL?

I'm just curious to who has had some success with IPL? As im going to try it soon enough when i get enough money, just wondering has ipl helped you? Does anyone know, if allergies would counter IPL's effects of helping the oil glands work better? I'm a bit nervous to go for it, but i have half the funds...

introducing myself

Hi, I have had severe dry eye for 4 years, and am tired of looking on line for relief, as I have tried everything out there that is possible and I am only getting worse. I now feel the need to talk to other dry eye suffers to see if they have any advice. I am pretty desperate about now, never pain...
